If you have never had a relationship with Jesus and want to know how, look below on how to first have the assurance that you are going to heaven.  Once you've accepted Him as Lord, you have access to Him at all times!  He loves you no matter what you've done and wants you to talk to Him.  Some people just say, "help me Jesus" when they have problems, others lay it all out on the line.  Just be you and talk to Him.  He will speak to you through the Bible, through others, and in what you may have heard others say, 'that still, small voice."  Anything Jesus tells you will not contradict what the Bible says.  Just remember He really does love you, wants you free from sins, and wants an everyday relationship with you!

Here is what the Bible says about knowing you have eternal life in Heaven.

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13)

"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Romans 10:9)

"Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13)

Today, I call upon the name of the Lord for my salvation.
I believe in my heart that God the Father raised Jesus from
the dead in order that I might have eternal life.  I now
declare Him to be the Lord of my life.  I renounce any effort
on my part to save myself, and I renounce all the accusations
of Satan that would rob me of my full assurance of eternal
life. Forgive me of all my sins and help me not to sin. I have been
transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom
of His Son.  I declare myself to be a child of God because
of the finished work of Christ forever.  Help me to know you more.
