“Do you know who HE is Ministries” is coming along side of Adopt-a-Cop of Michigan and will be coordinating the Adopt-a-Cop for Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula.  State troopers Larry Rothman and Ken Rochelle have a vision for all law enforcement individuals in our state.  If you are from another county in Michigan that does not have a coordinator, please consider contacting Trooper Larry Rothman.  These links provide you with all the information necessary to start an Adopt-a-Cop in your county.

                                                            State Trooper Larry Rothman:

As a police officer, I know the importance of back up. Nothing is more comforting than hearing the sounds of a distant siren coming to help you regardless of the color of the uniform.

As a Christian officer, I also know the importance of prayer. I feel it has been the prayers of my family and friends that have kept me safe not only physically but emotionally. Those prayers have also given me a heart for the people I have sworn to protect and serve.

It is comforting to know that I have people who are praying for me and my family every day I go out on the road.

Note about Marquette County Adopt-a-Cop

I believe it is of utmost importance we take the mandate to pray for those in authority which includes our Law Enforcement Officers.  These officers are men and women who put their lives in possible danger every day to keep us safe.  I have personally experienced the loss of a Great Uncle who was shot and killed in Itasca County Minnesota.  This was at the same time I was volunteering as a Police Cadet in Wyoming in an explorer program.  I have seen first hand and been involved in Law Enforcement at a very young age.  It has been around 20 years since I’ve been personally active in any type of Security or Law Enforcement, but I can still remember things that put officers in stressful and dangerous situations.  Please come along side Marquette County’s Adopt-a-Cop and pray for the Law Enforcement Officers in our area.  On the pages to follow, you will find a prayer guide to help you.
